Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition Receives AV-Test.org Certification

Panda Security today announced Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition, the world’s fastest growing cloud-based antivirus, has been certified by prestigious, independent testing lab AV-Test.org. This is the first time Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition has participated in these tests, which replicate today’s real-world threat scenarios.

The AV-Test.org evaluation, conducted between July and August 2011, compared Version 1.5.1 of Panda Cloud Antivirus to 24 other home user security products. Panda Cloud Antivirus obtained very good scores across the board, outperforming solutions from McAfee, Microsoft, Trend Micro and others in protection, extending its reputation for providing superior malware detection.
